333 Capital acted as exclusive financial adviser to Pragma Partners (Pragma) on their sale to Nomura Research Institutes Australian subsidiary, ASG Group (ASG). The acquisition will allow Pragma to work with a wider range of clients nationally, while strengthening ASGs public sector client base and capabilities in Canberra.

Overview

Founded in 2017, Pragma is a leading Canberra-based human centred design and service transformation consultancy, with capabilities spanning the full digital transformation project lifecycle. The company provides research, user experience design and digital strategy advisory services to a client base that includes several of the largest departments and agencies in the Australian Government.

ASG Group is a managed service and digital transformation provider, employing more than 2,000 staff nationally. It is a subsidiary of Nomura Research Institute, Japan�s leading think-tank and systems integrator.

Objective

333 Capital was engaged by Pragma to identify a partner who could provide the company with the platform and financial resources required to accelerate growth and expand the company�s geographical footprint and presence in the private sector. 

Our approach

The engagement involved 333 Capital designing a tailored process to provide Pragma with a choice of potential growth partners with competitive transaction terms. As lead advisers throughout the transaction, 333 Capital�s role included:
