Franklyn Scholar is a national tertiary training provider specialising in the delivery of certificate and diploma level courses across retail, hospitality, tourism, business, pharmacy, industrial and environmental sectors.

  • 333 Capital managed the acquisition of a cornerstone investment and then as lead adviser, identified a number of growth opportunities for the business within the fragmented Vocational Education and Training sector in Australia.

  • The acquisition phase included four primary acquisition targets over a three-year time horizon.

  • 333 Capital worked closely with Franklyn Scholar to determine the capital structure required to realise the growth opportunities for the business.

  • As part of this process, 333 Capital arranged private equity and debt funding for each acquisition.

  • In addition, 333 Capital provided financial due diligence, financial forecasting and transaction management services over the period.

  • Following the consolidation of the acquisitions, Franklyn Scholar was optimally positioned as a prominent market player and represented an attractive growth acquisition target for large training providers.

  • 333 Capital managed all elements of an extensive marketing campaign, which included Board advisory services and the undertaking of sale negotiations.
